New Basil at my nursery- 'Pesto Perpetuo'

My local nursery, where I buy all the seedlings for my garden for the spring/summer sent out their newsletter today. In it was a new kind of basil they'll be stocking. It's called "Pesto Perpetuo" and is a variegated form of Greek columnar basil. It's sterile, which means it doesn't produce flowers and you don't have to deadhead it to keep the flavor of the delicious leaves. And it can be overwintered indoors!!! I am so stocking up on these beauties and potting them in huge pots for BIG luscious plants. I grew Greek columnar basil last year (there's a TALL one in an inside pot right now in the house doing beautifully and is so fragrant...I've been cooking with it all winter). I love it's strong flavor and lemony fresh basil taste.
