WANTED: Coral Bell's---any type.
Comments (0)I'm sort of starting over with my gardening...I DO have some plants to trade...not many. See my profile or a small explanation. I'm looking for any type of coral bells. Also looking for small sedums...devils backbone house plant... And Christmas cactus cuttings. Mine were all lost after my son passed away. I just let everything go...he died and I lost the will to keep anything I loved as a hobby going. We have moved and I've finally come out of my depression and found some joy in gardening again. My trade just will be much larger next year as I care and tend for what I currently still have. I really did lose SO many plants. Can trade: Bulbs. My husband dug my bulbs for our move...he didnt separate them lol. When I plant them, I will have to wait and see what comes up. :) many are daffodils...but there's a chance of snowdrops...crocus...tulips... All sorts. I tried to sort by size an shape but its helpless :) I would do 5 bulb "surprise" bag trades on these. Only 5 trades available. King Hunbert Cana Hellabore---do not know its name but it puts out a cream color flowe with a pink blush tint to it. Cast iron plant. (A tree limb fell on the bed so it's looking a little worse for wear but will cjme back just fine). Miniture hosta---one start...Carolina gold I believe...small demse clumps leaves are only the size of your pointer finger or smaller...bright lime green...can take more sun than most hosta can without stress. I have one trade of Solomon's seal I can root hydrangea or jasmine vine but it would take a few weeks or more for a healthy plant to ship. Green shamrock plant bulbs...choose white or pink blooms. Sedum autumn joy Creeping Jenny Many types of IVY. Ask for photos....See MoreWANTED: Heuchera (Coral Bells)

Comments (8)Hi: I'm out in Lake Elsinore and lived for many years in Orange County. As far as I know, heucheras need protection from full sun. The only possibility for some sun would be if they were established plants. The picture actually shows sunburn, which means get out of the sun. In addition, watering every other day is making it worse. You can try to water every day or in the evening and again in the morning for the balance of the summer and hope for the best. Just some general rules: The mulch is covering the crown of the plant, which is the center of the plant where the green part meets the roots. For the most part, plants like their crown above ground and uncovered (this is not the problem in this case). In addition, I rarely plant anything in June, July or August, because the tender roots of young plants cannot deal with the hot sun. The optimum time to plant for the summer is in October and November so that plants, whether annuals or perennials, will have time to establish a root system that will stand up to our intense sun....See Morebgaviator
