Hoping one of you can help this gal on Long Island, NY in her seed search. I'll supply her email, etc.

I have been trying to locate the seeds of the strawberry bush euonymus americana. It is the family Celastraccae and a perennial shrub. It is native in Alabma, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Crolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia andWest Virginia. It grows in woods, sandy thickets, swamps, woodlands, shady edges, rayines and stream sides. This airy, deciduous shrub grows 6-12 ft. tall. Its ridged twigs become purplish when exposed to the sun. Pale green flowers with purple stamens have five, distinct clawed petals. Bright green, oval leaves become dark red in fall when bright red fruits open to reveal orange seeds.

Thanks much, Rosie in Sugar Hill
