Last month, I went into W*M to buy an inexpensive digital camera for my daughter, and I asked the person working the camera counter which additional memory chip to get to replace the worthless one that comes with all new digital cameras. She assured me that such-n-such was what I needed, so I bought one for $85.00, payed for everything, and went home. Opened up the box, saw that the extra chip was the wrong kind, so drove back in, went to the appropriate returns desk, gave the receipt and the unopened package, and went and exchanged it for the right one. I was held up by the store door man - 'security' guy, some poor geezer well into his 80's with a cane, for 30 minutes while they checked to see if I had pulled a switcheroo. I think he was more annoyed than I was, and offered me a chair. Anyway, reason to add to the thread is I read of a new t-shirt on the market, something about "Every time you shop at Walmart, God kills a kitten"

Here is the last of the Walmart bulbs in bloom. It just bloomed this week. I think this one is Amigo. Although I confess I did not label my Walmart bulbs. The red is really deep. The photo doesn't do it justice really. It's a true red, not the orange tinge that is reflected in the photo. It got two flower scapes and they both bloomed at the same time. So it really packs a punch.

Just forget my reaction all together please.It doesnt matter where we purchase palms as long as they look good and are at a resonable price. That does seem like a good price for Wal Mart. You'd think they would try to rip us off, like Home Depot.lol But really I'm sorry if I sounded stupid. Let me know if you buy one and post a picture. Id like to see one.

The settlement should include: pain & suffering, any expense incurred due to injury - any medicine, prescription and non-prescription, aides as heating pad, ice packs or whatever including bandaides, any person's time or expense, including gas, to assist you, any limitations or inconvenience caused by the injury. Then how will this injury limit you and for how long? What future expenses? Will this injury in any way effect you permanently? IE arthritis will set in due to injury as s commonplace. I'm sure you will be contacted and asked, "how are you doing"? You do not need to go into any detail but to just say you're in pain, have to take medicine and require the help of someone. All true but does not ope the door for them to sy on such and such date you gave the answer you were doing fine. If they get pushy and offer a low amount to barely cover your expenses, tell them NO, you need to talk to your attorney. You didn't say you would, only felt the need. Keep in mind what insurance has paid. They will subrogate Walmart insurance for anything they have paid. Usually, settlement is about 3 times your and the ins. companies expense combined for pain and suffering. Alabama does not have a cap so that is not a set rule. If any problems with them, call the state insurance department. They can't advise you legally but can assist if the insurance company is being a pain about a fair settlement. Sorry so long.
