Pumpkin leaves yellow but no damage?
Comments (1)I planted out some of my pumpkins a few weeks ago, with fingers crossed due to our unpredictable Michigan weather. They appear very healthy, growing vigorously, but the leaves are all turning yellow! There is no insect damage, the leaves are not shriveling. They are getting new leaves almost daily it seems (you know how fast those curcurbits grow) and have vines starting, but the leaves gradually turned yellow. They started looking slightly orange and within a few days are completely yellow. The plot they are in housed tomatoes last year and a week or two before planting I lightly fertilized with Garden Tone (3-4-4.) They are in raised bed. I also put some slug killer around the seedlings when I planted them out. Night time temps have been a little low for pumpkins, around 55. Comments (3)Check to see if you have male and female flowers on the vine. The female flowers have the immature fruit behind them...if they aren't pollinated, the fruit turns brown and falls off. In general, vines produce female flowers before it begins to produce male ones, so it is possible you have one and not the other. It is also possible you have both but that you don't have the insect activity to pollinate the female flower. That is easily remedied...take a qtip (or even just your finger) and get some of the pollen from the male flower and transfer it to the center of the female flower. Comments (1)May not be a disease. It looks to me more like a nutrient deficiency possibly compounded by insufficient water. Yellowing of a plants leaves is Chlorosis which has many causes. Browning, or burning, of a plants leaf edges can be an indication of Scorch, the leaf is loosing moisture faster than it can get it. Comments (5)Water: Its hot as said so watering is 2-3 days depending on the soil. Hose on low, depending on soil conditions, approximately 3-6 seconds. Pots: ( Original plant total = 10, current = 7) 1 plant in 4 pots: 24-inch diameter ( let branch out however it wants with little clipping) + 2 propagated basil plants in each pot ( 2 remaining plants out of 4) 3 plants in 2 pots: 18-inch x 8 inches long ( 5 remaining plants out of 6) Filled with: 1/2 inch thick bottom rocks or plastic mesh bottom. store bought vegetable specific soil 80% ( mixture of soil, sand, mulch, nutrients) and 20% native soil. Add slow release fertilizer and a few worms found in the yard when lucky all mixed in initial pot without plants.once a month add fast release fertilizer on top ( about 1-2 table spoons). Plants: Few days after preparing the soil and pots I add plants from propitiated stems or seedlings ( harvested seeds from California Italian tomatoes found at...Costco Japan haha). I also add a small propagated basil plant or two to the big pots. This is my third year doing this "style" and the first time with this issue(s). Current care: On all plants I have removed the yellowing/ golding spotted fruit. Current new fruit is small and the normal green. A few plants as a test have removed old leaves. 10 years agoHi, I live in Wisconsin so the weather was fairly cold to a hot humid. i wanted to grow a pumpkin plant, i accidently forgot to water one day and water it more the next day. A couple weeks ago i found that i had a pumpkin growing and the start of the pumpkin plant is dead (hard, rough, and a dark green). And now it has these white speckled spots on the leaves of the plant. I am afraid that the fungus or the bacteria might grow on to my cucumber plant which is perfectly healthy. I have no idea on what to or when to pick my pumpkin.... Need some assistant. Now the other bud i had is dying and looks rotten..... Please help i can always add more pictures

I have been having the same issues. Let me recount my story for you. I planted zucchini eight ball squash, yellow crooked neck squash, and butternut squash. They were all doing awesome and producing a lot of fruit.
Then the snails arrived. They were eating all my fruit so I bought some natria slug and snail killer. Worked like a charm.
I was watering the plant for 10 minutes 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening. This brought out the white mold on the leaves. I tried using a milk and water mixture to spray the leaves as well as cutting off all the infected leaves.
This kind of worked, but I have been battling it for 2 months, but not seriously trying. I cut the watering back to 1 time a day in the morning for 10 minutes.
Recently I have switched it to 3 times a week for 10 minutes. But what I have noticed is that the new leaves yellow and quickly turn brown and die. What would be causing this?
I have checked for vine borers by slitting open some leaf stems but I found nothing. Here are some more pictures.

Heres is a little bug hat I've seen around my plants...it looks like a discolored lady bug. Anything to worry about?
