Your garden is going to look so beautiful! Autumn Wood and Antique Rose are two I've been thinking of getting. I looked up Mystical Candy and couldn't find it. I have Mystical Rainbow which I like a lot except I wish it were more pink instead of peach for me. I got Susan Weber from Cottage Gardens last year and it is very pretty, but it's growing a bit slow for me - I think it may be getting shaded by the plants around it, so I should probably move it.

Oh, I am such a putz! I meant Mystical Rainbow, thats what I ordered, not Mystical Candy (I don't think there is such a thing). I think it was your picture that made me get it although now I can't remember which thread it was on, but it was a clump shot with lots of blooms.

And of course there have been all those lovely shots of Moonlit Masquerade and Autumn Wood (I am thinking of Debras in particular). I can't remember where I saw the one picture of Antique Rose but I did and just loved it. Loved a picture I saw of Susan Weber too!

Its funny but I don't necessarily think the newest 2007 intros are always the most must have daylies for me. I seem to really like stuff I see from the nineties and maybe before. My garden is going to be mix of newer and older. I don't hybridize so I only look for good garden daylilies, new cutting edge or oldies but goodies as long as it pleases me.

I do prefer rebloom but on some for late season, I don't know if it matters plus I just needed lates (had none).

All Fired Up was too pretty to pass up! I was thinking should I or shouldn't I, because its a short one and I don't like them short, but had to have it. I guess I will just plant it in this garden section I have in front that has a pile of lost name daylilies growning in it that I have had for years that are all short.

So, I heard back from Bettys Country Gardens so now I am just waiting to hear if she has the ones I wanted to full my order.

My ALL FIRED UP doesn't seem short to me. It's dark so I won't go out and measure it now but I think it's about 24 inches tall.

I wanted to warn you, leave plenty of space for it because it likes to increase, mine has 18 scapes on it this year. I have had it 3 years. I wasn't too fond of it when I first got it but the more it blooms the better I like it.

I should post a picture but I need some extra help doing this and my husband is watching the ballgame and we all know, we don't call our hubbies away from their games.

Wow, eighteen scapes. Sounds good to me. I thought it was listed at 20 inches or so but I could be wrong or have it mixed up with something else.

I just don't like them extra short. I have two clumps of Joylene Nicole and they irratate me every time I look at them. The flowers are so lovely but they are way down lost in the leaves instead of up were I can see them.

So, I am going to have my order from Bettys Country Gardens shipped not this coming week but the week after.

Lately it seems like I just keeplanting daylilies!

You will like what you get from Cottage Gardens. My first order arrived two days ago, and wow! Big plants with extra fans on most and a nice bonus. I usually use size 1 pots to pot them up with but, these were so big I had to take bigger pots from work just to be able to pot these babies up! That's a first! I will be ordering from them again for sure.

Well, I received notice that my cottage gardens daylilies are on their way.

I had asked for extra fans of ones I ordered if possible and he said he included extra fans if he had them. Plus he said my bonus is Cindy Jones, a pink with gold edge he has listed for $75.00. So I think I am going to be very pleased.

My Cottage Gardens order arrived today and WOW!!! As I started unpacking and looking in the boxes I was saying to myself, I didn't order this many plants!

I ordered 2 All Fired Up, got 5. As it turns out, I have just the spot for a row of them in my front yard but in back of the new front yard daylily garden.

Got nice fans and extra fans on everything and the nice double fan bonus of Cindy Jones.

All the plants look nice and green,, some have scapes coming. I am very happy with this order.

Going off to start planting now.

Got my row of 5 All Fired Up planted. It is going to look so nice next to some puple coneflowers when it all starts to bloom.

In the backyard daylily bed I put China Brides in the left front corner of the rectangle and the Susan Webbers in Back of them. I put some Antique Roses in the right front corner of the rectangle. Tomorrow I will put the Sweet Sugar Candies in back of the Antique Roses. That leaves the Mystical Rainbows, which I plan to plant grouped around a lovely birdbath fountain that I put at the end of a path leading to the back of my garage.

I had figgured I would be planting again tonight as I am waiting for the order from Bettys Country Gardens shipped earlier this week. However, my mail came today and no daylily boxes so I guess I just have to wait.

My mistake, my order from Bettys is being shipped this week, not last week. I have a Maryotts order coming this week too so I am going to be doing way too much planting.

Bettys Country Gardens order arrived. Wow, such gorgeous plants. Lots of green top growth left, she didn't
cut them back as far as Marietta and Maryotts do.

I receive four Russian Easter Plants as my bonus plus I also received one plant of Marietta Surprise as a bonus. I am going to go look it up now.

It is hot and the humidity has got to be 100 percent today. Last week when the plants didn't come was cool and pleasant, perfect for planting. Oh well, thems the breaks. Going to be planting this week, not last.

Well, I got all my Bettys Country Gardens daylilies planted today with the exception of one, the Marietta Surprise which goes in a section of garden that I wasn't planting in today so I will come back to it.

I also had Maryotts daylilies to plant and started on them too. Fortunatly it wasn't nearly as hot as yesterday and most important, the humidity was down.

Bettys Country Gardens also sends hugh fans.
