Wanted used nursery pots

Hi!

I thought I'll ask on here, does anyone in the surrounding Atlanta or more like Cobb and Paulding County have any used nursery pots that they do not want any more, looking to throw away. I'm looking for I guess oh from 2 gallon up to 10 gallon,the bigger one is so I can plunge my plumerias in the ground.

I contacted Pike nursery and they said it's against their policy to sell or give away just because it might carry disease. So I don't know anywhere else to go to get Nursery pots.

contact nursery landscape places that are doing new construction (I know there aren't many) but in our neighborhood, we've collected over 250 pots of varying sizes then they put in a new landscape for new homes. We just went up to the workers that morning and asked what they were going to do with all the pots, they said 'throw them in the dumpster' and we asked if they would stack them all together and we'd come back and get them that evening. That's what they did and we got 'em.

Some we used, and the rest we redeemed for credit at our local nursery. We had over $40 in pots this past fall. I couldn't stand to see them go to the landfill (we are HUGE recyclers) but it was icing on the cake when I found out we could get $ for them.

Try an Armstrong's Garden Center Nursery near you. They used to take in recycled/used pots. That's how I got mine for moving my cannas 2 years ago in Pasadena. Or any nursery.

I have several you may have. I am in Lewisville NC, which is just outside W-S. I think you came to my swap a few yrs ago?
