Anyone here growing citrus trees?

I was at Lowe's yesterday and picked up a pink lemon with variegated leaves. It was in a gallon pot and very rootbound, so I re-potted into a 2 gal. It's in the greenhouse for now, so above freezing. The pot that it came in had a drainage tray, but I'm not using one..I'm thinking good drainage would probably be best for it? So I know I'll move it out into full sun after last frost, but other than that, I'd love to hear any tips for getting it to produce fruit and how do I take care of it afterwards?

I'm asking because a while back I had miniture orange which was loaded with fruit one fall/winter. After it was done it croaked on me and I don't want to kill this one!!

BTW if anyone here needs roses they had all the J&P's at 50% off so I think they were about $8.50.
