Nope, no blue ones yet. Grace Stamile has some small ones with "blue" eyezones, etc, and a few other hybridizers are also working on developeing a blue one but no one has succeeded as yet.
As for the white ones being slow to increase, I don't think the color has anything to do with the increase. I've got some near whites that increase slowly and some that are prolific and the same goes for other colors. IMO, the garden situation often has lots to do with the amount of increase. Things such as zone, quality of soil, amount of water, amount of shade or sun they receive, etc. I think this is why that particular quality is not put into the description.

Some daylilies just multiply alot faster than others. All you can do is give them good garden conditions and wait until they grow more fans.

Most of the "white" daylilies are southern bred and are slow to increase in the north. There are some recent northern "whites" that will likely increase better in the north.

Does anyone know how Arctic Snow and Alpine Snow increase? They were introduced by Pat Stamilie when he was still in New York and I think both are dormants.

The Shooters are trying to get a blue, too. I'm posting a picture of Blue Waves (John Shooter) that I got last fall. It's really lavender blue, of course, but it's large and pretty, except for an occasional difficulty with opening in the morning. It's too soon to tell how robust it will be.
