Is anyone having trouble viewing pictures?

Hi all.

When I signed on this morning I looked at all of your lovely daylilies. Now tonight I am getting nothing but red X-es for each photo.

Anyone know what I did, or how I can fix it? I can not miss all of your flowers, I will go through withdrawel!

OK, so it appears to only be Photobucket photos that I can not see. Not sure why.

Have you tried hitting refresh?

I have that problem in the gallery. I can see all the photos except for the ones posted by maximus.
Don't know why.

Jeff, thanks for your beautiful picture. I think I will give her more time. She did open by herself today, and rather early for her. Unfortunately, it was the last bud on the scape. I have no idea regarding Easy share as I have always refused to load the bloated software that comes with digital cameras. Hower, try this...... right click Start click Explore in the new window look down the left side for the CD/DVD player. If there is a plus sign beside it click that. Either click on the CD/DVD player or the folder that dropped down after cl;icking the plus sign to highlight it. Your photos should now be showing in the right pane. You now have 2 choices, you can either right click on the top photo listed and then click 'Preview' to see it and then the rest by using either the mouse or down button on the keybaord. Or you can click 'View' at the top of your screen and click 'Thumbnails'. Now you see all the photos in miniature and use the same right click and 'Preview to see the photos. Once you are in the Preview mode there is a small icon underneath to start a slideshow, they change about every 3 or 4 seconds by default.

The problem is now solved. Two people at the Computer forum suggested CrapCleaner, so I got that because it really looks useful, but the problem was only with Firefox. Something had gotten corrupted. I finally fixed it--after trying a lot of other things--by deleting the whole Mozilla folder from my Documents & Settings>[user name]>Applications folder. That contains your FireFox profile, Bookmarks and Scrapbook add-on, etc., so I backed those up to a CD prior to the deletion. Everything is now back to normal. If anyone else has a similar problem, I have described the solution in more detail in the thread I started on the Computer forum. Thanks for telling me about it. I can see I am going to become a regular there, too!

I have not had the notifications problems, but it’s sometimes difficult to post. The closer I am to my wireless source usually the better the load. It also has to do with your bandwidth And you have. Also, some times of the day are better than others. Agree with sherrygirl, evenings can be better. Also it could how old your iPad is. Sometimes if you have an old version it takes longer to do things or you stop being able to get software updates which make it easier. This is why I had to buy a new desktop, the one I had could not use any newer versions of Safari. Good luck!

The refresh button doesn't help me. I can't log into photobucket either. Guess you are lucky folks cause I can't post pix. Ellie

Ellie. I just tried to open the Photobucket web page and it did not even come up. Instead I get transferred to a web hosting page.

Maybe photobucket is doing maintainance work or something.

I've been uploading photos to Photo Bucket all evening with no problem. Hmmmm...gremlins at work here maybe? :)
Hope you folks get your problems fixed soon, especially you Ellie...need to see your photos. LOL

So, from what I can gather on the internet rumor mill, Photobucket was hacked yesterday by some 'well-known' hacking group and repairs are in progress.

I hope they hurry up, I am going insane seeing only descriptions and no photos of most of all your daylilies!

If you want to see some pics from the last couple of picture heavy threads here... I transfered them to my blog for those of you who are going through withdrawl.

If anyone has a problem with thier pics on my blog, please let me know asap and I'll remove them.

I can't figure out how to post photos at all. I did create the photobucket account, but still can't do it. I would really appreciate some how-to instructions.

sayhello - did you upload your photos yet?

After that, you just click your mouse over the box that says HTML code. It will automatically copy that text. Then you paste it (use Ctrl+V) to the text box here that you post in.

It will look like:

(a href="http://photobucket.com"; target="_blank")(img src="http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k146/VinoBrillante05-29-081.jpg"; border="0" alt="Photobucket")(/a)

but with carrots instead of the ( ) above.
