Absolutely beautiful! I think bi-tones are so stunning.

Oh no Bob, bi-tones are another of my weaknesses, and this one is just super! Please intro it and put me down for the first fan....or heck, I'll buy it unregistered, doesn't matter to me! ;o)

Bob, please put a wider white edge on that one, enhance the white mid ribs, and eliminate the streaking in the sepals.

Bob, it's beautiful (and I like the streaked sepals). The green throat is a nice contrast, too. How old is this seedling?

You said more white on the edge, a white stripe down the middle and whiter sepals. Then you would like the parent of the new bi-tone. She will be named for my sister who is in love with her, and will be introduced either in 08 or 09. Bob {{gwi:817544}}

I started out wanting a lot of bitones but for some reason didn't end up getting that many. Yours is really pretty.

Bob, The last one is amazing. YOu were just waiting for our suggestions to pop this one up. It's wonderful. Are the Sepals really as white as they look?? The edge is amazing. OK, your head will be too big for everyone if I keep this up, but you really do deserve this one. Yours just keep getting better and better. They are both nice, but your sister is right about that second one! May we know your sister and the daylilies name? I will be anxiously waiting for you to introduce that second one. I think you should do it next year, I don't want to wait!! It will look stunning next to my banned in boston! Of course I may have to move something or get rid of it, but thats OK! Nope, Bob, You can't beat the second one, sorry! Im just kidding, that one is nice too, but the one named after your sister is more of a stunner to me. I can't believe how close to white the lighter parts are. Do they look that bright in person, or are they more creamish?

I may be in the minority, but I prefer the first one -- the color really floats my boat.

They are all gorgeous, but I also think that 1st one is my favorite.

I love both! I lean towards the first one more, but they could both come live with me :)

Trying to answer all your questions. The first one is a first year seedling. I started it from seed March 2006. This was it's first bloom ever. The second one (parent of both the others, and plenty more) will be named after my sister "Barb Kedler". The sepals are 'snow' white, better than the photo. The purple is a little more steel blue, but this is close. This flower doesn't have a high bud count, but it blooms a lot and produces the most cool array of seedlings, each year I get things I love from it. So for a breeders' point of view it is an outstanding plant. Banned in Boston takes a lot of babying here to stay nice, this one is tougher. Bob

Yeah Bob - DISCOUNTS??? Seems like I prefer the underdog, thats ok, more for me! It does not get quite as cold here in MD as it does in zone 5. Where at in zone five are ya? So far Banned in boston is doing well here. You see why it got its name. It dosen't like the cold in Boston. Just kidding, don't know why its named that, but it makes sense, it dosen't do well in cold climates. They are all beautiful Bob, you are good at what you do! -Jessica

Wow Bob, I should check in more often on the Daylily forum. I love your bi-tones. They are one of my biggest weakneses. Ive been breeding and buying them for a few years myself, both in dips and tets.
