Slower growing groundcover Junipers adapted to part shade.

The only ones I've found are Juniperus squamata 'Blue Star' and Juniperus horizontalis 'Gold Strike'.

J. sabina is also adapted to part shade but I can't find any slower growing cultivars.

Slower in this case call it 3-5' in 10 years compared to the typical 5' in 5 years.

I've considered Pinus mugo as well but get conflicting info on its shade tolerance.

The species has to be adapted to the humidity of the midwest.
