Rita, You're getting some nice blooms! I like them all, but my favorite pic is your pink Fairy rose - excellent.

Love Tennessee Afterglow, all are very nice, and I can see you have a TON of scapes, It will be beautiful, The roses are so lush also. Really nice pictures, cant believe how you had that rose moved, it does really blend everything together.

You are going to be unable to ignore blooms soon with all of those scapes!. Everything is looking beautiful. I'm glad you posted the roses since I read about the move on the rose forum. I love the way you intermix the roses and the other plants. They make a nice combination.

kay- I really have had hardly any daylily blooms yet, nothing to ignore. Believe me when all these scapes that popped up this year start to show, I am not going to be ignoring them :-))

I didn't know you lurked on the rose forum. I have pictures to add to the rose moving thread there but I don't have time tonight.

Nice blooms are already coming up. I have just got Lava Flow this year. Hopefully, it will be coaxed to have those striking blooms, too!
My goodness, all those scapes are really popping up.
I've got to do some research on the Fairy rose because it looks so amazing!

You really can't tell in the picture but the blooms on THE FAIRY are tiny, but it more than makes up for it in mass effect. I personally love it.

LAVA FLOW did not have perfect blooms today but even so it was really pretty and I just zoomed in on it as soon as I got to the back yard. Its not a color one can miss.

Everything is simply beautiful, Rita,and will be more so when all the daylilies are blooming.LAVAFLOW is gorgeous.Love these red ones, too.I Love that MINSTRLS FIRE.Its really gorgeous with the ruffles..NORTHERN NOCTURN IS a little hard to notice with them lilies there,Almost the same color.Might need to move that one???The Fairy rose is a really easy rose to grow,don't really need any care,and the deer won't eat that one,for some strange reason.I have 3 of them.Did have more then that, b ut gave some away....Love all your photos,Everything looks so healthy and green.

NORTHERN TREASURE is VERY pretty. I also like LAVA FLOW....like that bold color. The garden shots are great. From the looks of it you will be posting lots of pics very soon. :-)

The pink fairy rose is my favorite too. You have some great plants in your garden.

Rita, Just gorgeous! Tennesee Afterglow has some lovely coloring! It is great that you are getting blooms on things that didn't show for you last year. Hopefully your moving things around will have the effect you were after...looks like you are off to a good start in that department!

Are you seeing any scape blasting? With all the rain this season I only had one so far on an unknown seedling I got last year during a garden tour.

I agree that NN probably should be placed somewhere else. I can how you would miss.

Glad to see your season has started, I always enjoy your pictures. My Tennessee Afterglow had its first bloom yesterday too. I see another one today. The hot hot weather is really bringing the daylilies on fast.

Northern Treasure and Northern Nocturn would have to be my favorites. Love the shades of pinks in those.

I have to agree with you about NORTHERN NOCTURN, almost like it gets lost with your other lilies... :o( It is so pretty too!

Wish I had room for that "The Fairy" rose... what a stunner.

So far so good with no scape blasting. It does rain just about every day. There are days were its cleared up during the day and rains most nights.

The amount of scapes this year are just awesome. Can't believe how many there are. I feel bud counts should be good also as many of the daylilies have had time to settle in plus we have had so much rain.

There weren't any daylilies blooming upstairs today, it was the first thing I checked when I went outside today.

I don't really know were to put NORTHERN NOCTURN. I guess I could always just switch it with something else. But for now, at least, its going to stay were it is. I bought it over the winter on the lily auction because the picture was just so beautiful. So far, it does not look much like the picture to me. I don't mean that it's the wrong plant. I just mean that it needs lots of improving. No point in moving it until I see if it can make something of itself. If it can't then it goes on the big move, bye bye right out of my garden.
