    That looks as tender as a tropical rhodie.
    Makes me wonder what a specimen might look like.

    I have 2 clones here. 1 is from Trompenburg. It actually does well outside in Atlanta (zone 7 - though protected by building). Mine looks good after lows of 18F, whereas P. neriifolius and P. costalis both have major foliage burn.

    looks similar to my henkelii and macrophyllus var.maki.

    Yes, P. forrestii is a synonym of P. macrophyllus var. maki.

    this is important for me. So I do not need any grafts or cuttings from forrestii.
