It will survive if brought into an unheated garage or shed and kept away from a light source. It must be watered once in awhile but it will be dormant so it shouldn't be too wet. If you have a sunroom that stays cool and other plants thrive in during winter, it may be OK there. Roses are not indoor plants and the dry heated winter air inside a home can spell disaster for a rose bush. BTW, the number after crisx (crisx 8) should be your zone. At first look I wondered why you would want to bring a rose bush into the house in zone 8. You might consider changing it to crisx 4 to avoid confusion.

i live in zone 7 and keep my curry plants indoors throughout the winter months. i start when the low temperatures begin to dip below around 60 degrees. i have friends who keep the plant outside in the daytime but i am too afraid that i might forget to bring it in. i do not use any special light inside, just keep it by a window.the only problem i have experienced is scale infestations.

I too got a Quarter Pounder cutting from Jack, this past winter/spring and it's happily installed out in my yard right now, but no figlettes and it's only about 10" tall. If you can get them under 12 or more hours of full-spectrum / grow-lights you can keep them fooled into thinking it's still summer. Luckily the Memphis area has a pretty long growing season, so who knows I might see some fruit this year.

no You can leave it outside. It will die off then come spring it will start coming back. they are fast growers. If you drive around I will bet you will see them in peoples yards blooming now. When it dies off you can cut it back also.
