Another question about yellowing fig leaves.Probably too late.

Posted a few times about this, and I thought the problem was solved, but I guess not.I've had the leaves on a fig I planted this year turn yellow and fall off.I've tried watering it,not watering it,puting mulch around it.The last was the mulch, which I thought was the cure, but in the last two days the rest of the leaves have tuned bright yellow. Also noticed they have small specks of brown in them.Anyway, its kind of strange since the tree has done so good at first. It even put on 7 figs, which ripened. The yellowing got severe right at the time the figs started ripening.Well, its to late now,as soon the tree will have no leaves.Do you think the tree is done?I will say there are several buds, but they have not done anything, and honestly, the tree has not seen any new leaf or limb growth since I planted it.It just put on those 7 figs and stood up green and perkey, then went down hill.
