Snow and dark days dampening your spirits? These ideas will have you looking on the bright side
Full StoryIt's so hot and muggy here today! But cooler temps are coming. It's supposed to be only 90 tomorrow, and then back in the high 80s for three days. Woopee!
I don't have many new openers in the garden today. Things are really slowing down, and most of the lates have started blooming. I do have ton of rebloom on the way. Five have already started reblooming, and I've counted more than 50 others with rebloom scapes. This kind of rebloom in my garden is mindboggling. The most I've ever had rebloom in a season before was 17 out 600+. So I'm a little giddy about that. I know it's the by-product of May's flooding rains, and I'll probably never see it again in my lifetime. Now on to the photos...
DARK TERRITORY - Last week this one was on the moving out list because of horrible splotchiness. In the past few days it's redeemed itself. Benz touts DT as his most sunfast purple. (It's not sunfast here!) I'd hate to see his others at the end of the day.
