The major mountain ranges of the state accumulate a deep snow cover during the winter months, and the release of water from the melting snow-pack in late spring furnishes irrigation water for more than two million acres, mainly within the Snake River Basin. I would suggest LSU Gold. It is a large golden/yellow beautiful fig that should do well in your area. The skin on this fig is tender and the inside very sweet and juicy. Biting into one is like biting into a melting ball of honey. Dan
