Some Sunday blooms-lots of pics

I found these beauties on my morning walk through the garden.

HALF MOON KEY - a Petit intro

Don't you just love that pink!!!!

FREE AS THE WIND - it isn't a favorite yet..but blooms like a crazy so I think it is trying to impress.

SPACECOAST GWEN DENNEY - bought it at Mecca and came home with a nice clump.. unusual rustyred color but very striking

And for those that like a less dramatic daylily with their morning coffee.. here is JACQUELINE KENNEDY ONASSIS for your viewing pleasure

My two favorites this morning have to be CAPTIAN BLUE - finally settling in to a nicely formed flower and great color

and TEXAS BLUE EYES.. new flower for me and I couldn't be happier..this is the FFO and WOW is all I can say. I even drug my DH out in his slippers to look at it.

HMK is a new addition for me also this season. It had some not so spectacular blooms, but I'm hoping next season it will strut it's stuff. I love SGD...the contrast between the edge and the petals is fabulous. The rest are lovely also. Thanks for sharing.

Shelly, it is your fault if I short out my computer from drooling! Wow, you have some absolutely gorgeous daylilies. Kansas Kitten is a new one to me, but to me it had perfect form and a satiny texture on the petals. Love its shape. I have never seen Portofino, but love the edge and color. I recognized Wild Irish right away. From the several pictures posted here, it seems to be quite consistent in its performance. Please keep posting your pictures - I enjoy them so much. Ann

good camera work! thanks for the post. also it's nice to see the flowers that stand up to the heat of the day, I think. for example the ones that change color from when they first opened, i have orange ones like that. anyway. nice photography, keep it up. dean

That late blooming no ID of mine is one that I have been posting for the past two years and every year people really like it. I love it because it is and was a late bloomer when I used to not even have anything late. Natayna- Go to the Olallie Website and click on the late blooming section. Choose anything listed that they say blooms in September. It will start in August here. I will do a new post about my Olallie Late Bloomers, just take afew minutes.

Thanks Mr Toad. Ngraham yes BRONZETTE STAR does have a little bit of a blue spot under the beard. Guys, I apologize for the darkness and kinda "off colors" on these photos. I am looking at them at work on a different computer than my home one, and the pics look a lot different here. My son re-formatted my computer with a newer operating system and the image editing program it has is a good bit different from Photoshop, so it's taking me some time to get the tweaking down right. I played around with it this morning and I realized I was making the pics too dark. So hopefully the next batch will look better!

I am partial to that JKO - I love that delicate porcelain pink. They are all very nice though, I just like the softer colors better.

Very nice blooms! I especially liked HALF MOON KEY and CAPTAIN BLUE. The TEXAS BLUE eyes photo looks very dark on my monitor, and I can't tell there's a blue eye. I'm sure it's amazing in person.

Beautiful!I am jealous of your blooms.I only have 4 blooming now,and the only one doing it right is dumb old Stella!Fire And Fog is splotchy and distorted-just won't open fully,Raspberry Winter looks more like peachy spring,and Frilly Bliss is a munchkin!Nearly all the rest are scaping-early,mid,late-what a bloom season this is turning out to be-lol!I am happy to be able to enjoys everyone else's blooms.
