Fig trees killed by winter in N. VA

Charlie

I lost 2 Texas everbearing, 1 celeste, and 1 brown turkey fig trees due to the winter cold. They have not begun to sprout from the ground, so I assume that even the roots are dead. I have planted some Chicago hardy, fico nero, and black mission cuttings. Does anyone have experience with these varieties in N. VA (zone 7). This winter got down to 4 degrees. Can these varieties handle that?
