Two different colored figs from the same tree

The green figs in the middle of the picture and the purple figs on the right come from the same tree. The Green figs were all on one side of a huge tree and the purple ones came from the opposite side. The green ones were on the west side getting the afternoon sun. The purple ones only getting the morning sun. It is a mystery to me. Again, this is a "wild" tree. Maybe a seedling or maybe planted by someone a long time ago. Figs on left, I believe, are also from an unidentified tree. Probably black mission.
