two different color tomatoes on same plant

Has anyone ever had a plant pop out two different color tomato from the same plant, the same stem even. It has happened with a cherokee purple plant and a brandywine plant. I found a red tomato on the plants, both were even on the same stem as the others. I know things can cross, but i have never seen this before.

I wish i had gotten a picture, i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw a big red one growing right next to a big purple one, then 20' down I found the same thing...a red tomato right next to a big pink brandywine.

The CP seeds were purchased this year (BTW....by far the BEST tasting and selling tomato I've ever grown). The brandywine seeds were saved from last years crop.

Any ideas anyone?
