I have a brug that changes colors as the flower ages, not sure of the name, and I have a variegated brug with white flowers, and just bought the double brug from Logee's greenhouse. I'm looking for large flowered and scented brugs, also need care info for insects for brugs. And how to keep my cats from using the trunks as scratch posts, besides declawing, lol.

vicky- i don't want to dig up any of my plants, but they have lots of seed set and i could bring that for you. the lady i got mine from had lots of seedlings, so i presume they seed fairly easily. mine just haven't reseeded around much yet. dogridge- sounds great. we can get the boulder either in our van or pete can run home & grab the truck if need be- we live close to this swap. karen- the betsy's choice sounds great. i can overwinter it in the cool greenhouse and get it in the ground come spring if you think that would be wiser. unless we get rain, i doubt i'd out it in the ground anyhow. i lost too many newly planted things to the drought this year.

What a great day we had! Thank you so much to all of you who have come. We had so much fun having you over, the garden will be glowing from all that positive energy at least another month. And the new plants! Even though I had not planned to trade as much, somehow I ended up with so many beauties. Also Big thanks to Nancy for a beautiful arrangement of flowers (if you like the vase back, stop by any time), to Coffeemom for the candle and flag (it has temporarily moved to J3's room now), Tony and Mary Beth for the lychee gumies for J3 he loves them so much and the DF seedlings, Cliff for the beautiful orchid. Sorry to those who could not come, we missed you. Maybe next year, Jerry and I have decided to make this an annual event. Hopefully, next year we will remember to take pictures. LOL Veronika
