Last but not least. I was really disappointed in the blooms on this one. I have had it now for a couple of years and have been told by a couple of different people that the angel wings start appearing after it has been settled in for a while and the weather is warm. Well, I wonder how long it takes to get settled in? And the weather here is in the 90's already so that should be warm enough...

I did enjoy the show, very much. That MJB is stunning, but then so are lots of your others. :) Good to see SC, it's one I just added to my garden this spring. Hope it blooms as pretty as yours.

Really nice, love that Rock Solid, it was already on my list, now I have to add a few more. Marietta Magic was sent as the bonus this year, I think a few of us received it that way, really nice to see a picture, I don't have many doubles, and it looks like a nice one. Keep posting, we have only stellas, love the stellas, but can only take so much of them.

mid tn mama, I have 5 blueberry bushes and 8 blackberries growing that arent pictured. This was all grass last November. Im going to add some fruit trees early next year but I dont plan on building anymore beds than I have now. I think I calculated it once and I think I have close to 900 sq ft of actual bed space. I dont want no steekin' weeds!

Thanks everyone. I have had Edge of Your Seat for a few years now and it has always been pretty but this year it seems to have gotten even better. About half of my daylilies are in pots right now and the rest are in the ground. I have been meaning to clear out some more space and make some new beds for the potted one's but I just haven't gotten to it yet. So the potted one's have to be watered just about every day now since we are already hitting the 90's here. Dianne

Jan, Chris and Linda, I got the seedlings from a friend of mine who lives in WA that sells daylilies. She sent me a few of her seedlings this spring to try out here in TX. She wanted to see what they would look like here in zone 8. After seeing those seedlings bloom, I told her I would be her guinea pig anytime!!! LOL.. Vickie, I think little Trooper looks really close to the picture on the Floyd Cove website. You just never know if it is going to look just like the hybridizer's picture or not. Julia, China Bride sometimes has a little more color than the picture I posted. When I took the picture, it was in the heat of the day in the sun. I think the sun washes out a little of the color sometimes. Dot, I am looking forward to Orange Grove reblooming. I got a few blooms out of it already but not many. Zahadoom on the other hand has been blooming quite a bit. Rita, it sounds like your show is just starting. I hope you have lots of beautiful blooms this year. Dianne

Thanks Alana! Your lilies are so beautiful this year! You really have a huge flush of blooms. I still would love to visit your gardens. They are always bowling me over every time you post pics! Deb, Thank you so much! Ah, we poor women who are married to the tradesmen! lol! They are perfectionist that is for SURE! But so worth the wait. Your gazebo will be absolutely stunning when he is through with it. I like the idea of using the reclaimed stone for the base. If you need to find some, post on free-cycle. I'm sure someone in your area is tearing them out and doesn't know what to do with them. Our neighbors put in a gazebo last year and it has all of the windows screened in. It is so beautiful. They stained the wood to a nice golden brown and wow does it look pretty on their property. One of our other big plans we want to do will be to put a deck off the back of our bedroom and install some french doors in our room someday. The idea of going out there and having a nice warm soak after a hard day working outside would be so nice!

Goldenzelle is awesome. I had several scapes on mine this year, since I got it twice to have more. I think it also reblooms.
I love Rock Solid also and it sets pods easily. What I like better than RS is Christopher Moody, from RS.

Dianne, thanks for sharing your wonderful daylilies. I wish I could put all of your posts in one big slideshow and just sit back and watch.

Meet Joe Black is awesome! And Rock Solid is another favorite. I must be falling for the pinks with the dark purple eyes and edges because those are the ones that always seem to catch my eye.

That's a great shot of MEET JOE BLACK. In most pics I've seen of that one the color always looks very muddy. I also love MOVE OVER....very pretty lavender colors in that one.

All three batches of your daylilies were stunners. This last bunch is the most difficult for me to choose a favorite so I am not even going to try. Just going to say that I enjoyed all the pictures very much.

Wow, Dianne, all those picture perfect blooms! Gorgeous flowers & photos.
Except of course that ugly duckling Hurricane Swirls...here's hoping it swirls for you later this season. I remember Stamile wrote in his intro that it does the first 1/2 of
the season w/the angels wings there in FL ~ maybe it's the opposite there.

Jan, you will absolutely love Sherry Candy. It has quickly become one of my favorites and it is new in my garden.

Dot, I am glad to hear that Goldenzelle is a rebloomer. I don't think I could ever get tired of it. I saw your picture of Christopher Moody and I want it now! It is beautiful. I will have to save up for that one.

Marea, alot of my daylilies are still new to the garden and I am really surprised how nice some of the first blooms are turning out. I am keeping my fingers crossed on Hurricane Swirls. My Purple Mound and Create Your Dream already have scapes! Can you believe it?

Rita, glad to hear you are starting to have blooms. You have some really nice one's. Looking forward to seeing those pictures. Awesome Blossom and Chocolate Cherry Dreams are growing like weeds here.

Cindy, my first couple of blooms on Marietta Magic weren't that great but the more it bloomed, the better they started looking.

Dianne, Great photos! I bought a SF of Tree of Gascone this spring. I doubt it will bloom this year, so thanks for letting me enjoy yours.

I really like them all, but I have to get Meet Joe Black! It will probably not bloom that colr here, but I will give it a try.
