Edward - Lambertson told me AMM grows very well in Canada, so it should do well for you. Ed - You are so right about Helix and Rudebeckia. Too bad they're on the opposite sides of the yard right now. I've been thinking about moving Helix beside my red barn so it would be planted in between Free Wheelin and two black-eyed Susans. Michelle - Frank's Star would fit right in your garden. It's new for me, so I don't know how well it grows. It sure is a pretty one though. Debra

THANK YOU for all your nice comments on my photos. We had another unseasonably warm day today after the rain of yesterday and the plants are loving it and are being tricked into thinking this can go on forever. They are in for a shock when it starts acting like New England weather in October. As am I! I never have gotten used to the cold even though I have lived here all my adult life...(I was born in south Georgia and lived there as a child). Cindy, no Zeus doesn't mind the leash although he isn't used to being outside so everything spooks him....the falling autumn leaves or a car going down the road will send him into a panic. I am glad that the outside scares him, though. I have lost too many cats to the coyotes and fisher cats in the woods that surround my yard. Lily & Nemo are too old to change their ways, having been outside cats all their lives and everyday I worry they won't make it home after their excursions in the woods. Celeste
