Hi Figgers,

I'm a lurker but a faithful one. I have 2 figs planted on the northeast side of my house on a steep slope. I found out that they grow big and fast there. Last 2 years (only been there 3 years) they have had figs but not enough time to ripen before frost.

I want to move them to a pot so they can be moved to sunny spot as I think they are not getting sun soon enough in season to ripen fruit and since I don't have a southern spot to put them in (cause that would be the driveway). I could put their pots on the driveway and move when necessary.

Problem is they are big and tall now after 3.5 years in ground. How realistic is it to move them? Should I try? What you ya'll recommend?

Thanks,

Kat
