Happy Holidays Everyone:

Cleaning out the seed box, I have lots of extra seeds to share for SASBE. I only have a few guidelines I request people follow.

1. Email me directly as well as posting here please, so people have an idea of what is already spoken for.

2. Promptly send your SASBE with return postage and return label inside (I won't wait longer than 2 weeks for your envelope to arrive)

3. Please keep your selections to 15 or less so lots of people are able to participate.

4. Please don't request things from my personal trading list. It is out of date (working on it as we speak) and I keep those seeds for trades only.

5. Happy planting and share your extra seeds with others!

Hi Noni! The day was planned to be quiet, but I ended up spending it with many good friends (my "renta-a-family"). I have several Hippis in bloom: Intokasie, Rock 'n Roll, Candy Floss, Tosca, Sweet(?) Nymph and a Minerva. Several are ready to bloom within a few days. Thanks everyone. The little tree is a palm seed frond, if that's what you call it. I've had the idea for years to use these dried seed fronds as Christmas trees because of their shape and finally did it this year. I glued little blue glitter stars to the tip of each branch and decorated with found bits and pieces of shells and coral picked up on our local beach. Bought the star fish though in a little shell shop that has been in the same place since the 1950's. Merry Christmas to all and a great 2008. FlowerLady

Thanks, Marylee. He's too young now, but I think he will grow to love it. Merry Christmas to you, too! Thanks, Luvs! Awww, you're so sweet. He's adorable, I must say. lol! I should have taken more close up pictures of it. It was hard to photograph because I coated it in shiny clear poly, several coats, to protect it. The poly bounced the light. Hope you all have a lovely holiday season, how ever you celebrate!
