This is a new one,and I love it.

ok, I quit, decided to post more of them when ahotobucket decided to work.It WAS not working good for awhile. post 2 photos and it would quit working. hope you like them..a lot of them I have shown several times before, but some are new ones.

I love 'Big Yellow Taxi'. That's amazing that they are already in bloom where you are. Ours don't start till July.

I like Romantic Evening and Lady at the Well. I almost bought Fancy Face but then decided to go with Blue Eyed Butterfly instead. After seeing Fancy Face here I'm wishing I'd bought it to! Marg

Curioser and curioser. When I tried your directions, no option appeared of opening another window, so I couldn't follow through, jannorcal. I wonder what causes the differences. I too have a photobucket account, so that can't be it. I wonder, jannorcal, do you use a MAC perhaps? I know that there are some commands that don't translate well between MAC and Windows. Of course, it might also depend on what kind of computer Jeri uses also. Perhaps different browsers account for the difference? I use IE. What do you use, Jannorcal? All of these photos are to DIE for. I love foliage, too, though not any more than I love flowers. But the good thing about foliage is that when nothing else in your yard is blooming, it still looks great. With all my coleus and things like my false roselle (hibiscus acetosella), my yard still has strong color going on. These photos have ALL inspired me, with your great combos, especially! Karalynn, where oh where can I find that Ruby Queen Dancing Ginger? It would be stunning in my big tropical bed (You say you can't you see that bed? It's right under the BIG FAT LOG PILE that's still there from the hurricanes!) It would also look wonderful beside my big pond. (What? You can't see that either? Linda, thanks for fixing the link. I just couldn't work out how to do it. Glad you liked the pictures. I took about 1700 altogether, so had to pick a good mix. Just in case you haven't had enough (lol) I just added some more - I think they have come up at the beginning of the album. Hi Alisande, the Abbey dates from the latter half of the 12th century and the burial site from 1607. Many of the gravestones are unreadable but there are some local family burials right to the last few years. When I went in spring it was beautiful with daffodils growing everywhere. I have a a few more old graveyard ones which I will upload and show soon if you like. I enjoy old cemeteries and wandered in many while I was there looking for my Dad's family. I made a mistake - the Abbey is at Dundrennan in Galloway, not Ayrshire. June, I have to say that the food was quite a mix. I was on a budget as far as food went and because I was on my own, did not go out at night much. I mostly picked up sandwiches, fruit and soup, plus cheap meals at one of the department store chains. I bought a thermos flask for the 3 weeks I hired cars and drank coffee and ate snacks, including lots of chocolate. In Edinburgh, I treated myself to a nice hotel room and enjoyed room service meals that were good. One really cold day, I found a really tasty curry and sat near a loch where there was not another person in sight. Bliss. The low point was a deep-fried meat pie in Edinburgh. Pure grease. We Aussies love our meat pies but they are baked pastry, not baked and then deep fried. Really, really yukky!! I did have an incredible lemon tart at the Edinburgh hotel later that night which made me feel better. I love the colder weather and made a point of travelling before the tourist season began - April and early May, so was able to find B & B and guest house accommodation easily and relatively cheaply. Some highs and lows. I only booked my first two nights and last one before I left home. It was a real leap of faith to prove to myself that I could do things by myself. Still haven't worked up the courage to eat a meal in a restaurant alone but will do it one day. I would recommend Scotland to anyone who loves history and scenery. The driving was very easy - of course they drive on the same side of the road as me which helps. I am thrilled that people like the pictures. Beth

These are great, what a wonderful variety of colors and shapes. I am partial to BYT and I like the color of Romantic Evening. WOIA is is fabulous, and Lady At The Well is very nice. Avedon

CHRISTINE;yes, it is WOMAN AT THE WELL. I had not noticed that I made a blunnder.Dont know what I was thinking,to put it wrong.But, you are right about it.

Your Wonder of It All clump looks fabulous. Meanwhile I've yet to have a bloom open sucessfully on mine. And it's got a horrible case of the thrips AGAIN despite my dosing it early with a systemic. Your Big Yellow Taxi looks like a very large bloom. I especially like the eye color on Jamaican Music. The other blooms look great too!

Love the daylily gardenshot. It looks good there. Lovely blooms but the best is WOMAN AT THE WELL.

WOMAN AT THE WELL is fabulous and gets my vote for today! However, if you keep posting pics of WONDER OF IT ALL, you leave me no choice but to get one! It is fabulous.

Fancy Face & Woman at the Well are my favorites! I hope my Woman at the well looks half as good as yours.
I've had Jamaican Music for the 4th year now & have yet to see it bloom. It put up a single scape last year & I snapped it off while I was weeding. Grrr. The weeds can just grow, I'm not going to get anywhere near the scape this year, although i don't think it has put out a scape yet.

DEBRA:Big Yellow Taxi:IS a very large bloom. about a 7 inch bloom, but dont seem to have any problems with opening, after the first one.I'm sorry YOUR WONDER OF IT ALL is not opening good for you.My first one this year had trouble and never got all the way open, but after that,every bloom has been perfect.I had one bloom today that took a couple hrs longer to open up, but it made it too.I hope you will soon have better luck with it,as its such a beautiful bloom,and seems to just love to bloom , too.

Jean, it looks like LES is shaping up. I like Lady at the well. So unusual looking. Nice clump of Wonder Of It All. I ad 3 blooms as ffo's but they were so far apart....Ellie
