Bellarosa-I bought them from a lady that sells perennials from a roadside stand. I've never seen them at the garden centers either. My MIL has red poppies that seed themselves like crazy in her sandy garden, but when I tried them they didn't seed themselves. I'm guessing from Handee's reply that it's my clay soil. I plan to collect some of the seed to start indoors for next year, and see if the ones I leave out sprout next spring.

I have double pink, Lauren's Grape, and a mix of single pink and red papaver somniferum seeds. If you don't find anyone to trade with (your seeds/plants offerings are nice but too tropical for my area), I will send you some for postage. kms
