Missing Post

Hey I haven't really been on the forums in a long time but I got back on to look for the Heat Tolerant Conifers thread that I posted over a year ago and it's gone. I'm assuming threads are deleted after a certain amount of time but that's sad because there was some valuable information on some of those old posts that can't be found anywhere on the internet. The search engine does not turn anything up so if anyone can help me find my missing post it would be much appreciated.

Yeah, old threads die when they drop off the end of page 67. Currently, that's from around April 2007. If there's any other old threads of value heading down that way, add a new post to them before they go to bring them back to the top.

Whether it'll be findable on any of the various internet archive sites such as web.archive.org I don't know; probably worth a look, but I'd not know myself how to find it there.

If you ask a specific question regarding the the post you are looking for I see many threads about conifer subject matter from GW in Google.

I would start with the question: Where can I grow heat tolerant conifers as an example.

I just noticed the same thing as I went searching for the post about the house in Austin where the owner wanted to add separation from the entry to living/dining. Somebody had posted a pic with a bookshelf between columns that I wanted to have a closer look at how they were placed between the columns. I want to do something similar, but with cabinets for hidden storage instead.

I don't know, but I do know they pull threads that can be controversial and cause problems. Religion and politics often fall into that category.

Like you, forrest30295,I too have been away from the forums for a while. I'm interested in how those "exotic" trees that you planted a few years ago have done. Do you have any progress reports or pictures?
