Thank you Barb and Don! It was nice to see your gardens and fun trading. Thanks to all for the nice plants. I'm too tired to get them out of the car, but I made it home in one piece.

I hope you had a good time, Teresa. We certainly enjoyed having you here. Thank you so much for the pulmonaria and false lily of the valley, and whatever else it was you gave me - I'm too tired to remember right now. I think it was a great swap meet. We're getting bigger and better every year.

Yes a BIG THANK YOU to Barb and Don for hosting this special event. And thank you to all the very generous gardeners who shared so many plants with me even though all I had to trade was chocolate. LOL Teresa, I left my plants in the car too. Next time I will bring a wagon.

After doing a little research, I can state with certainty that those were not top-setting onions, because top-setting onions never produce flowers. That's because the purpose of a flower is to produce seed, and top-setting onions don't set seed, either. If you can't find your top-setting onions, it may be because (according to Mother Earth News) they don't produce underground bulbs, so if you harvested the bulbils last fall, that's all you have left of last years' plants. My guess is that they are chives, because it's the right time of year for chives to begin blooming. At the nursery I work in, all the onions and scallions are still tiny little grassy-looking things, and we don't even have shallots and leeks yet.

I have quite a bit of tradescantia (spiderwort) and Gloriosa Daisy (rudbeckia), some perennial herbs, climbing roses that mostly don't have leaves, but the roots were good when I potted them, amsonia hubrichti (Blue Star), pea starts, and a lot of odds and ends that I only have one or two of. What color are your iris? I don't need purple, but almost any other color I would trade for. I think my neighbor is bringing some iris, too, and another neighbor is probably bringing dahlia tubers. I am interested in some veggie starts depending on what they are. I need cukes and summer squash, one or two kale plants and broccoli.

Hi Pat Tea, Welcome to gardenweb! False lily of the valley is a native. It does spread by root runners, but it doesn't make a thick matt, so it doesn't kill the things around it. I wouldn't call it invasive. My defination of invasive/garden thug is if it spreads 3' or more in the first year and chokes out other plants, or seeds everywhere. Great thanks to Barb and Don for posting such a wonderful plant trade..and this one was even bigger and better than ever.

Thanks to all for the wonderful plants..and to Barb and Don for the great food...and comfy accomodations.

Since my plants were in a friend's truck..they did get moved out yesterday afternoon..late..but only to be lined up for later care.

I would like to thank everybody for all the lovely plants, for attending and for making this one the best yet except that Tammy couldn't make it. We missed her cheerful smile and help in identifying those mystery plants. I would like to send her a special thank you for the beautiful plants she sent to me and Don even though she couldn't be here. Thank you, Tammy!

**Teresa for opening her garden when I came to pick up the plants and helping dig 19 different plants.(She has an amazing variety of lovely plants in a natural setting!)
**Marie for plants (More SGrow to swap for Jacob's Ladder next time)

The surprise of the potted Dragon Arum (Voodoo or Stink Lily) was awesome since James' pot from fall GE hasn't come up.
