Sounds like a fun day, Jane. Wish I were closer and could tour your garden. Great to have helping friends and to have some of those things done.

It is early here as well though there are many daffodils and hyacinths in bloom. And we gardeners are also delighted to see the early growth in our gardens.

Well done Jane! That was so nice of your friends to come and give you a hand. I'm sure you will have a blast showing people around and 'talking garden' with them! I am a wee bit too far away to come for the tour, so please make sure to take pics of your garden some time for the rest of us to enjoy. I know I can't wait to see all of your hard work.

Looks like the weatherman is predicting a decent day for your open garden :). I was really looking forward to a visit to your garden and finally meeting you. Unfortunately I've come down with some kind of bug, been laid up the last couple of days so maybe see you at the next garden club meeting I should be up and at it by then. Lots of pics please :).

WOW!!! What a day! It was sooo much fun! I wanted to take pics of the actual event, but was too busy answering questions to take pics. People asked to be able to come back to show others! A gloriously sunny day, and I was so happy with my fish, just showing off for everyone!heh heh!

Great pics, so glad the day turned out to be decent and it went well for you. I'm bummed I couldn't make it, feeling somewhat better today, actually ate some supper. Are you going to have an open garden...at least for me?heh heh! And I would be honored to have you visit out here! Farm at Cedar Woods was here and they are having an open house today and asked me to come and check the place out, they are interested in me having my garden art there...and maybe some workshops too. I feel so blessed with all the help I recieved to "tidy" the yard up, that I feel an obligation to keep going on and taking care of it and my next 2 projects are: a Gnome Garden bed, and a climbing/rambling rose bed...

Mornin' Jane, in all the years I've belonged to the club I've never had an open garden and probably never will. No matter how hard I try there's always some part of the garden in a horrendous mess, besides I consider my garden my own personal playpen :). I'm more a come on over and take a look at something I think is looking particularly nice kind of person, the rest of the garden is in chaos so put your blinders on before you come through the gate LOL.

I've had a lot of my Clematis cut to the ground or maybe even lost this winter amongst other things so it's still a wait and see what has survived. My garden such as it is will be at it's best around the end of May so that will be the best time if you want to have a look see, that gives me about 4 weeks to tidy up at least some of it :).

By the way, I think your garden art is spectacular I just might have to commission something, I hope more people look at this thread, if they don't they're missing out big time.

So glad you had a fun day! I could sit by that pond and watch the koi for hours! Looks like your rhododendron will be blooming soon. Bet it will be wonderful. Thanks for posting the pics!

Thanks for sharing your photos of your open garden. Nice to have a someone offer you a place to show and sell your garden art. The neighborhood kids visiting my gardens would love the footprint paths! My primroses are blooming also though I have no blue ones. Yours has me thinking I need to find some this spring.

Now that was lovely. I really love your mosaic pieces, especially the mushrooms. They and the garden frog are so adorable. Your pond is lovely what fun! A fin job and a lovely garden.

So glad you had a good day and had such good responses. I'm sure most people were in awe of all your wonderful garden art and the various areas. Your firepit patio looks like a great place to hang out. I really enjoyed the pics, put it on slideshow so I could see each fully. Love your totems, of course- they really are works of art. The little mosaic bunny is so adorable. TFS Hope to see more of your garden when there is more in bloom.
