It is notoriously slow to establish itself. Be patient. It took mine three years before it even looked like a plant, and it was slow to show itself during those years.

By the way, I hope you allotted enough space for it. Mine is at least four feet around, all of a sudden.

Thank you ! It was a fairly large plant last fall- yes ! I have the room for it & am looking forward to that hole it now ( doesn't ) occupy is filled ;) appreciate the response !!!!

It finally showed it's head !!!!

I am so jealous!! Mine just started poking its head up a few days ago and are even smaller then the one in your picture! I think I have blue and twilight prarie varieties planted and I have yet to see false indigo blooms in person but the foliage is very nice in my opinion! Hopefully I will see some blooms this year :)
