WANTED: Yellow Christmas Cactus and Clivia Seeds

Hi, Does anyone have a yellow Christmas cactus that they would be willing to share a cutting of. I'm also looking for Clivia seeds. I have a white Christmas cactus to exchange or a walking iris or I'm willing to pay postage on the slip and the seeds. Thank you.

Hi, I don't have the Aspen(looking for it myself) but it is White with a ruffled edge on the petals. The picture shown on Kays link is right But the plant had been kept too cold while the buds were forming. That is why it looks so pink. cliff

Look on ebay. There are several terrific growers who regularly sell yellow christmas cactus. I've seen Limelite, Limelite Dancer, Cebelina, and Golden Dancer on there quite often lately. It is okay to call yellow flowering plants Christmas cactus. Holiday cactus, Thanksgiving cactus, and Christmas cactus are merely the "common" name most people use for the genus of Schlumbergera. The Schlumbergera genus has five groups, one of which is the buckleyi.

I've got a pale yellow Christmas Cactus, blooms in November/December and again in March/April. Not very big; I find it tends to grow slower than the red one I used to have. If you want a slip, send me a sase - just let me know.
