WANTED: unusual produce seeds for community garden

Hello,

What I spectacular resource I've stumbled upon in GardenWeb.

I work at the Crouch Branch of the London Public Library, and though I am a complete novice to gardening, I am coordinating the gardening aspect of our greening up initiatives this year.

In addition to our annual plant exchange, we are just beginning free seeding stations for all, a community gardening newsletter, and are hopefully heading towards a small community garden right behind the branch.

But we need seeds! In an attempt to engage people, especially the youth in our area, we thought an heirloom/unusual thrust would be cool. Having fruits and vegetables that are not to be seen in grocery stores will interest them more than regular produce, and leads into educational components of genetic diversity and food ethics.

If you have any hearty seeds to donate that could be used at our seeding stations, and then hopefully in our garden, please contact me. Thank you for your consideration.

Happy gardening!

Jenna
