I could be mistaken, but I believe that the tobacco used in pre-Columbian North America was Nicotiana rustica. N. tobaccum was grown in the Caribean and introduced into the Virginia and the Carolinas by the colonists where it not only became a major cash crop for export to Europe but was universally adopted by the natives as well. N. rustica is a smaller plant with yellow flowers but is more potent than common tobacco.

I would love some of your passionflower vine, and your horsetail. I prefer plants and cuttings, but would be happy with seeds as well. Please look at my trade list and see if something pleases you. Thanks, JM
