I'm looking for plants or seed of this wetland plant commonly called Tufted Loosestrife. It is a more northern species that I would like to try in my Z-6 mountain bog.

Yes, I'm sure. I know it's slightly invasive in the ground but I want it for the pond. It grows great in a pond and a lighted aquarium just bare root with a rock to hold it in place and the fish don't eat it. Creeping buttercup is a monster! I made that mistake a few years ago too! I like creeping Jenny though. I don't think it's quite as bad as creeping buttercup or chocolate mint. I love choc mint but keep it in a pot now. Nearly lost my entire herb garden under it one spring. Crazy fast growth! Most of the creeping Jenny I grow in the ground eventually gets pulled up and put in the pond or into an aquarium in the fall. I actually bought some last year when I put the new pond in here. The fish eat everything else green in the water.

I have this and can bring some rhizomes to the Green Elephant. Thanks for offering to bring the brug cuttings. I bought a red one a few years ago and couldn't get it to grow at all. So I'd like some advice on them. I believe it was Jeff of West Seattle who brought a lot of butterfly ginger to the March Green Elephant. Regards, Jim Eichner
