I sent you an email, interested in the Bhut Jolokia ( limited amounts ) and jalapenos. I like odd peppers and we have the long enough and hot enough season for the Bhuts here.

The arbor day foundation will send you ten seedlings native to your area for a $10 donation. These are really little plants, and won't be trees for a long time. But, just as a personal example, I can tell you I gave my parents a membership 10 years ago and they took those baby redbuds and put them in the ground, watered them in and forgot them, in a forgotten part of the yard. And now, when they're in bud, it's one of the prettiest parts of their yard. Last I checked, they were sending bald cypress to Florida. Also, check with your county government. Lots of counties offer free tree days when you can get free native trees or shrubs. As for posting in the wrong place, this is the spot for posting stuff you want to trade for. Do you have anything to trade? For example, I'm a very newbie gardener, but I bought a house that happened to have three calamondin trees in it, and lots of folks want to grow those. So I've traded those seeds for beautyberry (a native) and other things. If you've got anything others might want, you might want to repost that as a "have" and note that you're looking for native trees and shrubs.
