How many of you have fruit in the cottage garden?

Since I've been asking the same questions on different forums, lately, I hope I didn't just ask this (LOL). Lately, I've been adding fruit to my cottage garden. Partly to have more edible plants and partly to keep the deer away from my roses :)

I like blueberries and seem to be tucking them in behind the fairy garden roses or around some antique roses, to confuse the deer...they don't seem to like them. I also want to include some alpine strawberries in the herb bed and some regular strawberries in the potager. I have a few dwarf apple trees that I plan to add behind the fairy garden and I have one large apple tree already. Now I'm thinking of adding some brambles. Maybe some thornless blackberries, some purple raspberries along the veggie garden and possibly some "virtually" thornless red raspberries, depending on the flavor.

I know cottage gardens are traditionally fruit, herbs, veggies and flowers, so I wondered how many of you include fruit with your flowers, etc.?
