What have I stirred up now?

Since taking our Mantis to our new beds, I knew we would stir up all sorts of things. Sitting dormant for at least three years, a new "thing" popped up. Big time. I was pulling it out by the handful. After three hours of research tonight, I found out what it was. It's Dichondra repens. Apparently it was used quite extensively in our neck of the woods for a groundcover to replace grass. A native to Australia, it seems to be a friendly enough plant. If not tenacious. I will use it to my advantage.
