Got that too! Both white and siver! 5.) Sharp utility knife - Check! Sissors at hand! 6.) Permanent marker - Check! Sharpie is ready 7.) Soil/growing medium - Um, um, um...... Bag's open, all soft and fluffy! Rose of Sharon are seeds waiting for me to take my "Leap of Faith". They got wet last week and have been in the fridge ever since. They are begging for me to sow them... I need to shut them up today!! I have a 2# deli container filled with soil mix, some nice holes cut into the bottom edges. Soaked it down with the sprayer to check the drainage... One baby, two baby, three baby seeds, press 'em down a bit. Almost done... now get that container outside and then into the cold frame it goes.... NOT! Well, hells bells! What the heck?!? The dang door's frozen SHUT! I hear a quiet voice.... "Well Momma, why don't ya get the hair blower on that freakin' door and get us the heck out of this heat?" Well ya little sh%t... the hair dryer broken! One more word out of you and it's into the freezer ya go! and later that day.... "Hey Mom? When are we going to have that stuff in the freezer for dinner? I want to go to Corey's house for dinner that night!"

I found this post by accident and couldn't stop laughing. What a relief to know that I am not the only member of the "wrong car club". I'm not even the only member of the "loading groceries in the wrong car" club, LOL. My husband is always pleading with me to please be more aware of my surroundings. My daughter and I loaded a weeks worth of groceries in someone else's car one time. I got into the drivers side and she got into the passenger seat and buckled up. We were both into our conversation so much we didn't notice someone elses fast food bags and jumper cables in "our" car. It hit us both at the same time ...mid sentence. We grabbed our groceries as quick as possible and ran.Unfortunately, in our hurry, we left our toilet paper in the back seat of the car. I've always wondered what the real owner of the car must have thought when he found an unopened package of toilet paper in his back seat.

believer, How wonderful! I am now custodial SM to my SD15. We have a wonderful relationship that I hope continues. I was worried a little bit about that changing when she came to live with us. Mostly because of the day to day grind, that is life. I was concerned that our relationship would suffer, but so far, so good. Your story confirms what I believe and have often said. If we keep the kids best interest at the forefront of our decision-making, and do the right thing, it will pay off in the long run. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I had a recurring dream in my teens, that happened half a dozen times a year, until a 'grand finale' dream finally ended it's recurrence. I dreamt I was babysitting my younger siblings one night and had put them to bed. I notice a light from my parents bedroom, so went in to shut it off. But I see the lid of the cedar chest at the foot of their bed is open, so I sit down on the bed. Inside it they kept (same in real life) my father's police marksmanship trophies, and containers of loose family photos that weren't yet put into albums. I pick up a container and start taking out photos, one at a time. The first photos I pull out are the latest ones taken, so they are in colour. As I continue taking them out, the colour begins to fade on each successive photo, until they are simply black and white, as they are now depicting (real) events/family from before I was born. The dream ends with me picking up a photo by the back, and starting to turn it over to see the actual picture. I never get to turn the photo around, before I either wake up, or simply morph into a different dream. It became very annoying, having this same dream for almost 14 years, and never getting to see what was on the front side of that dang photo! The good news is, when I was almost 30, and pregnant with my first child, I had the dream one night and finally got to turn over the photo and see what was on it! The bad news is, it made no difference. The photo was only a picture of me, starting to turn over a photo! I'm about 16 in the pic, which is the same age I was when I first started having this dream, and I am in my parents' old bedroom, pulling the photo out of their open cedar chest. I have never had that dream again, so I guess my subconscious considered the dream 'concluded' just because I got to turn over the photo. But it still annoys me that I never got to see the actual picture, lol!
