Went from Winter to Summer here... time to water?

We've had an extended dry stetch(less then .25 inches of measurable rain in the last two weeks). Time to water the new conifers?

Seems to be capping an unusual stretch for us here:

December/January: Near record snowfalls, record rainfalls, record cold temps and near record wind storms.

February: Extremely dry for our area.

March: Colder then February.

April: Cold and messy weather, most plants still sleeping.

May: Received monthly rainfall in a fourty-eight hour stretch early in the month... then three weeks ago, blazing sunshine all day every day. We've had constant 70s and even some 80s, very very unusual for us here.

What a strange twelve months of gardening here in the Pacific Northwest. I've lived here most of my thirty years of life and can't recall such an unusual weather pattern.
