Be My, Be My Baby

Everyone knows that Kalanchoes and their relatives the Bryophyllums offset at the drop of a hat.

I have empirical evidence of that from San Diego, involving a Kalanchoe orgyalis:


Little did I suspect that it would pull the same stunt here. There's a six-month-old calico that is part beaver, and she could be responsible for the severed part of the leaf, but at any rate, I was pleasantly surprised that the same thing was happening here in conditions much less ideal than before.
