Dr Seuss' Euphorbia: Need ID Help!

ChemGardner

I tried posting this in the ugliest plant thread because it's awesomely beautiful and ugly at the same time, and I'd love to ID it.

I take pride in my research skills and have never NOT been able to ID a plant I've bought (one reason might be that here in SWFL, there isn't the largest selection of succulents and cacti :) ), but this plant has me legitimately stumped!

I picked it up at the Sarasota Succulent Society, which I highly recommend to anybody in FL :), and the lady there only could tell me that it was a Euphorbia.

It has small euphorbia-like leaves, just not many of them, and super tiny flowers, which are brownish-yellow in color (see last pic). It's spikes are sharp but won't puncture you unless you really grab them hard.

Any help would be appreciated!
