Variegated Jade, I just cut this one way back hoping to encourage new growth...its a slow grower.

This one has me stumped..I am not sure what it is and would love to know...Norma any help with this one?

Thanks for the update photos. They all seem to be doing well, and the soil mix looks nice and dry. I really like that sprawling, multi-limbed Jade (from October). A lot of potential there.

My Port. afras are dropping leaves, as well. (Which reminds me, my big Port. afra needs watering).

Your variegated Jades are super. The Jade without a name looks an awful lot like the Jade 'Peek' that Mike has...although the striping/banding on yours is especially strong.

My 'Hummel's Sunset' is still recovering from a rough summer. It's re-leafing nicely, but no where near picture worthy! Thankfully, I've managed to get a 'Hummel's Sunset' leaf to root....so, eventually I'll have a back-up, if this one should succumb.

Thanks Josh and Ann:) I really love the Jades they are great plants to work with. I have some tip cuttings and leaf babies also that are doing really well and I am very happy with the results this year.

Josh I dont know if that is a 'peek' or not..I think Norma said the 'peek' has light strips of variegation...not sure hoping she will see this and help us out:)

You're right...there do appear to be differences between your plant and Mike's. Your leaves look more rigid, with greater variegation. However, this could be seasonal, as well as regional. Here are a few shots of Mike's cuttings to compare...

Yes they do appear to be differant...mostly in the extreme of variegation. It will be neat to compare them once I get the cutting from Mike. A nice side by side shot would be good. I am still hoping that Norma will look at this thread, I am suprised really that she hasnt.

The variegated is not peek, the white is ver obvious, it is named 'Peek' because the white is just peeking out. It is sometimes difficult to see if you are not looking for it. I have two different forms of this sport. Norma

Your beautiful variegated potted plant is Crassula ovata v. vaiegated, there are two varieties of this one white the other cream or gold in leaf color. I don't believe there is a special name for either of them. I not going to forget this little special 'Jade' group on the this forum. Norma
