If you can give them heat and light now, after transplanting them, sure, go ahead, but if not (or at least not right now) leave them until Spring. They're doing fine now, and when you do transplant them, give them a suitably-sized pot and plant them up on top of the soil, with the rooted part slightly inserted into the soil.

They are indoors in a VERY bright room and warm.

I've read about them growing a new plant at the roots, but never read how to plant them.. :)

JoJO, take our soil and put it in the pot tap is down lightly by hitting the bottom of the pot on a hard surface. now use a pencil and make a hole deep enough for the roots to fit in. Tap down, and leave the leaf on top of the damp soil, let it settle in for a week, then sprinkle in water lightly, don't press down the soil. Some are winter growers, once they have leaves and roots, you may water weekly if you haven't had any rain for a week, let dry out before watering again. use a chop stick to see if they are dry, then pick up so you can get used to feeling the weight. Once the have roots, they are considered a plant, and can be lightly fertilized just don't over do it. You potting mix should be able to carry them for a year. All of the Crassulacea are considered Winter growers, many of these species, will die if watered in the summer so keep that in mind. Use rain water when ever you can. Wait ten days depending on pot size and if it is clay or plastic. You want it fairly dry before you water again. Keep it dry if you have low temps at night. Norma
