Cacti & Succulents

Can someone tell me what this is?

I still don't know how to get the photo to show up in a post, but I did upload it to my flickr account, so if someone could tell me what this is I would greatly appreciate it.

I have just started keeping the cacti & succulents & I love them! I have a couple of others that I have been able to search around online & find the names for, but this one, I'm not having any luck with for some reason.

Hey Angie, welcome to GardenWeb! Always nice to see new people. Especially when they like to share pictures. ;-)

Your plant looks to be a Euphorbia lactea. It's a popular plant, especially in its variegated and crested forms. You can find lots of guides on how to care for it using Google. It will also want as much sun as you can provide for it.

As far as posting pictures goes, you've already done the hard part: uploading them to a hosting service. Now, you just need to embed the picture into your message. I don't personally use Flickr so I can't tell you for sure, but somewhere on the page for the pic you want to post, should be a little box of text with a label that says "Embed photo in website" or "HTML code for image". Copy that text and paste it into your message. Voila! Everyone will see your lovely picture without having to click through...

If that doesn't work, hopefully another Flickr user will chime in.

Good deal! Thanks so much for the information, both on the plant and the photo posting! I have a few other photos of plants I have no name for. I love going to Home Depot, Lowe's or where ever and finding deals, but I hate it when they don't put names on them.
Look forward to "meeting" everyone and learning more about these wonderful "beings in pots"

Fridges with water lines (ice makers/water dispensers) are some of the WORST causes of moisture issues in a kitchen. Most people think sinks or dishwashers, but the fridge is the worst...hands down. Pull the fridge out (put something under the feet and pull it forward. Remember to shut off water lines and unplug if you have to. That little bit of dark in the wood is hiding a much bigger issue. The sooner you get on this, the less damage you will have. Once you have found the leak, get in there with towels and fans and then call your home insurance to get the name of a remediation company. If you can see the floor from underneath (like a basement with an unfinished ceiling) then go ahead and do that after you make all the phone calls. Gravity LOVES to pull water DOWN. Only when water has backed up enough to create a little pond or reservoir will it move 'up' to the surface of a floor (like yours is doing).

So that's a trap... as @Rehabit said. The odd thing is that it looks like it's 3/4" - based on the relative size of the pipe in the photo. Kitchen sink drains are 1.5" not 3/4 inches. That might go to the dishwasher, ice maker or something else.

From too far a distance to say with any kind of certainty, the form reminds me of some cultivars of Magnolia grandiflora. But rather sparsely clothed magnolias :-)
