WANTED: 4-6' orchid pots - plastic, clay or wooden
Comments (2)are you still looking? I have 3-4 clay orchid pots that came from a local greenhouse that specializes in orchids. I had to give up orchids when my daughter's cockatoo came to live with us. Here is a link that might be useful: my trade page...See Moregrouting polymer clay, my 1st time
Comments (16)I just finished grouting the box. The tape doesn't work with polycrylic! It pulls it off. BUT! I grouted the rest without the tape and the polycrylic worked great. It stood up to my regular grouting and all the water just fine. But I'd like to be able to use tape to keep the grout out of the impressions, so there isn't so much clean up. So I don't think I'll use it again. Has anyone tried the clay varnish or glaze? I bought some yesterday.....might try that too. Hazie...See Morepolymer clay tiles for mosaics
Comments (19)if you are looking for stamps you could use the alphabet stamps that go with wood burners or just by looking in the scrapbook section of your local craft store they are use to emboss metal or paper, and there is also leather stamps they could serve the same purpose , stone stamps, & do not forget you can make your own stamps out off polymer clay. these Ideas are what I use as you can tell I must have a messy craft area!!!!! Comments (48)Awesome! Thanks! I am really proud of myself for making the 511 mix. I have been meaning to do it for a few months now, but was putting it off thinking the the foxfarm was going to be ok. It was quite therapeutic to sit over a bucket and sift the bark picking out the sap wood and fiberous strands and then mix it all and bareroot. It suits my nerdy tendencies and I am feeling really proud of myself and hopefull for the ol’ gardenia. I will give it a good flush tomorrow with my weak FP and vinegar water until it runs clear. It was a bit cloudy when it exited the pot today on the first watering. I have it closer to the house now so it will only get 2 or 3 hours of morning sun and the rest of the day bright shade. I am looking forward to getting it back to full health! Oh and I did a PWT test with the leftover 511 mix and the PWT is really small! Only 20% of the total volume of soil. So if my calculations are right, only 2” in the 12” pot is perched. Pretty good right? FX all goes well from here! I really appeciate your time and knowledge!...See MoreDanielle Rose
