Plantgrrl, I discovered this kind of by accident. I was frustrated with losing them in winter, but there's one particular species that grows like a weed for me no matter what (it's either schneideriana or pendula - I'm not sure which...) I had a clump I needed to pot up becuase it had fallen out of the main pot and I threw it in the nearest pot, which was a very shallow bonsai pot. Well, that has grown to be one of the nicest looking heurnias I've ever grown, and it's been a prolific flowerer since I put it in that pot, too. In fact, last winter, it flowered all winter long. (Not so much this winter because it's been more dreary...) I had all but quit growing Stapeliads, partly due to my winter losses and having to constantly fight mealies. I decided last summer since I've gone to using systemics to keep mealies away that I'd give them another try and I got an H. urceolata and promptly put it in a bonsai pot. It's done wonderfully and I'm going to bet by summer's end, it will be like my other Huernia and have completely filled that pot. And the best part is that I can water them all winter long without fear of losing them. By the way, after this discovery, I decided that surely just filling the bottom of a regular pot with pebbles or packing peanuts to turn it into a shallow pot would have the same affect, but it doesn't for some reason... To me, it looks like Trollius (globeflower), based on the spiky things that stick up from the center of the flower. How large are the flowers? Ranunculus repens flowers would be 1/2 to 3/4 inch across, while Trollius flowers are much larger -- 1 to 2 inches across. Here is a link that might be useful:

Thanks for the Modern Dimension info - I am going to see if I can find that on display somewhere. In answer to the earlier question about tile plan. I've attempted to describe below as I didn't have a good picture. This is a 7 x 7.5 bathroom - will have clean simple lines, dark wood vanity, off white toilet and tub, Witch Hazel Corian counter (ivory and brown marble-ish pattern) and I want the tile to be ivory/beige/possibly brown accents. Everything entirely neutral (towels, etc. will provide color) Hopefully I'm describing this tile correctly. Shower/tub combo and walls will have some kind of subway running bond type field tile. Could be 3x6 or 4x8 but not the larger stuff. Shower will have wall and ceiling tiled. Walls outside the shower will go up to 48 inches. On the walls outside of shower I'd like something like this: some kind of chair rail type piece row of tile liner piece of tile something decorative that's maybe 4 inches wide liner piece rest of field tile maybe a moulding type tile at the bottom where it joins the floor I'm not sure if I would continue any of this into the shower or just have the shower "plain" subway or with some other kind of "decorative/interesting" accent. I'm leaning toward plain since there is so much other stuff in the tub/shower area. I noticed in the Savory brochure that is shows the matte tile with the glossy trim and liner pieces. Maybe it's okay to have the combo. When I stopped to think about it I realized I have honed limestone in kitchen with glass accent tiles and I like that contrast. Not sure about the floors. I was kind of intrigued by the Savoy hex tiles though I have hex tile now (in the bathroom and two other areas). Not sure if I want to have something different or continue that theme. If not that then some kind of larger running bond medium colored floor tile. I was hoping the "designers" at the tile shops would be more helpful but they are surprisingly unimaginative. That combined with my analysis paralysis is getting me no where. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Wow, I'm learning a lot about MLS. How would I find my local MLS online? I thought that was only for the agents. Roselvr, one of the enhanced listing agents you linked I've never heard of (1st link - this house has been on the market for quite some time, looks like they just re-listed with a new agent, word is the house needs some major work). And the other is from an agency I interviewed but they did not call me back as promised so I wrote them off (2nd link - this one's been on the market longer than us and I think it's over priced, especially since it's not in the best school district and needs updating). We are in a sellers market here and because prices have doubled in the last 5 years some people are listing their homes just to test the market and see how high they can push the price. I'm not surprised by the bad review from the renter. Our agents office rents and/or owns several properties, most in the bad area of town. It's a bit scary and crazy around here, people living in tents or campers because of not enough rentals (oil & gas booms bring in the temporary & transient type of workers - most aren't looking to buy). My agent was partially chosen because he was the #1 agent the last two years and he sold 3 homes in our neighborhood in the month before we listed. One of those homes was on the market for months with another agent, a hard sell because it was nearly full to the rafters with junk. We knew when we signed with him that we wouldn't be getting an enhanced listing. Anyway, word about agents gets around in small towns and the market/advertising is different in small towns, mostly stuff like word of mouth. I asked my agent to make sure the zip is listed in the MLS - he said it should have been automatically entered, but he will check. We plan on reducing our asking price as soon as we get back from this trip (we've been away over two weeks now) - I think the flat roof and sw style is scaring off buyers, we've had several say they want to make offers but don't follow through + one very low ball offer. We haven't hit the average 60 DOM yet, but I want to be pro-active. Thanks for all the research and digging roselvr. Amazing what you can find!
