Repotting Dioscorea Elephantipes and Pelargonium Triste - Now?

Hi -

Just picked up a few pots from Erin Pottery (UK) from a tip I received on the forum (thanks for that!). I plan to use one for my D. Elephantipes, which has been pushing growth for a month or more now. Is it too late to think about potting it up right now, while it is in its growing period? I don't think I will need to do much, if any, root pruning to get it to fit. There could be some incidental root damage in the process though, I suppose...

Same question for a Pelargonium Triste that has just started to push growth, too.

Would keeping them dry after repotting be the right thing to do for a week or so (assuming it is okay to repot in the first place, of course)?

Thanks.
